MIKA x Indeed x Pride

For Pride 2021, pop singer MIKA partnered with Indeed to release a virtual concert, featuring interviews with queer people. Throughout this concert, Daphne shares thoughts about the role music played in her transition, her experience working with kids as a math and physics tutor, and what Pride means to her.

Daphne has worked with LGBTQIA+ video storytelling series I’m From Driftwood. IFD has collected stories from queer folks in all fifty states and beyond, and their videos are watched all over the world. Here, Daphne tells the story of how she changed her stage name from Sumtimez to Always.
